The factory had previously been used by the Phoenix car company. J. G. Parry-Thomas, a design engineer at Leyland Motors, initiated the project with Reid Railton and Henry Spurrier. Fifty four-cylinder engine blocks intended for delivery vans were repurposed to build a 2-litre sporting car. A prototype used an Enfield-Allday chassis and was tested at Brooklands in 1924. Production began in 1926 with two variants: a low-chassis sporting model and a high-chassis touring type. Bodies were available for the high-chassis in two and four-seater configurations, priced at £525 and £550 respectively. Railton lost interest after J. G. Parry-Thomas’s death in 1927, and production ceased after approximately six cars were made. Thomson & Taylor acquired remaining components, completing a few additional vehicles.",null,"https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arab_(automobile)
"4f120cad-649c-439b-9653-c6c89e53ccaf","image/png","2026-08-04T06:11:24.673Z",800
"b5cdbccf-0bae-4583-83be-50b19ffb2399","United Kingdom","united-kingdom","europe",54.7023545,-3.2765753
"7144a5be-6555-4971-8aef-3f82074ae6d3","image/svg+xml","2025-05-15T20:28:04.189Z",[],[],[],[],[]]
