The company initially produced tricycles and a single-cylinder quadricycle cabriolet using De Dion-Bouton components. Racing successes, particularly in 1903 with Waldemar Lestienne, led to the adoption of the name Corre La Licorne. Sales increased and challenged those of established brands like Renault, Peugeot, and De Dion-Bouton. In 1907, the business was sold to Lestienne Firmin following a five-year legal battle. The company’s model range expanded throughout the early 20th century, offering single-cylinder, twin and four-cylinder engines. By the eve of World War I in 1914, it offered three models with varying engine sizes. After the war, a new 1.2-liter model was introduced, based on an earlier design. In the mid-1920s, the Neuilly factory produced a wider range of vehicles including commercial versions and small buses. During the 1930s, Corre La Licorne began buying sub-assemblies from Citroën. In 1936, the manufacturer rebodied existing models using body shells from Citroën. Production ceased in 1950, after a total of 33,962 cars were manufactured between 1901 and 1949.
