Lawrence’s “Lawrence Link” suspension system, developed for the DS104 and patented in 1963, became a key feature of subsequent models. The company’s efforts to compete at the 24 Hours of Le Mans resulted in several entries, including the DS301 and DS302. Despite challenges and setbacks, including mechanical failures and disqualifications, Lawrence remained committed to his racing endeavors.
