Initially focused on cyclecars, the company produced several thousand four- and six-cylinder automobiles between 1913 and 1922. The Grant brothers, George D. and Charles A. Grant, founded the company with a dealership for Thomas Flyer cars before transitioning to manufacturing their own vehicles. In 1916, the company reorganized as Grant Motor Car Corporation and moved to Cleveland, Ohio. Production shifted from cyclecars to six-cylinder models like the Grant Six (Model T, V, K, and G), which were initially priced competitively to undercut existing six-cylinder vehicles. The company expanded its product line to include trucks, acquiring the Deneen Motor Company in 1917 and rebranding its truck models under the Grant name. By 1922, financial difficulties led to receivership and cessation of car production, though truck manufacturing continued until 1923 when the plant was sold to Lincoln Electric Corporation. The Grant Special, a more affordable version of the Model H, was introduced in 1921.",null,"https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grant_(automobile)
"70e0948b-3464-4079-8382-9167f85495a5","image/svg+xml","2026-03-22T21:34:29.796Z",800
"143cfd3a-2809-4a64-b6d0-800889e81ffb","2026-08-05T05:30:43.958Z
"606156d6-ab31-4e9d-9d11-ac5da1c7f505","United States","united-states","north_america",39.7837304,-100.445882
"88b9c260-8cc8-4632-bec8-8c9d3f3957ac","2025-05-15T20:28:10.101Z",[],[],[],[],[]]
