They initially produced the Cox GTM, a sports car built from Mini components. Production began in a garage and quickly reached 170 kits by 1971. In 1972, the company closed due to road widening restrictions. Howard Heerey and his father then took over production, developing new models like the GTM 1-3. In 1980, Peter Beck, Paddy Fitch and Dougal Cowper acquired the company. They moved to Sutton Bonington and refined the GTM Coupé, introducing models such as the Rossa and Mk2. The company later incorporated the Rover ‘K’-series engine into its vehicles. In 1998, the Richard Oakes designed Libra and Spyder were launched. RDM Group acquired GTM in 2003, developing the Ballista and a skeletal track car, the 40TR. Potenza Sports Cars purchased GTM in 2007. Westfield Sportscars then acquired the brand, discontinuing current GTM models in 2010 due to parts procurement issues, with plans for a new range over the following year.","https:\u002F\u002Fen.wikipedia.org\u002Fwiki\u002FGTM_Cars",{"id":31,"type":32,"modified_on":33,"width":34,"height":34},"6c413583-8fc3-4d8f-aa97-83639c974969","image\u002Fsvg+xml","2026-08-04T22:12:36.570Z",800,{"id":36,"type":32,"modified_on":37,"width":34,"height":34},"232bc956-7963-4bae-989c-c89668076735","2026-08-04T22:13:35.296Z",{"id":39,"name":40,"slug":41,"region":42,"latitude":43,"longitude":44,"flag":45},"b5cdbccf-0bae-4583-83be-50b19ffb2399","United Kingdom","united-kingdom","europe",54.7023545,-3.2765753,{"id":46,"type":32,"modified_on":47,"width":21,"height":21},"7144a5be-6555-4971-8aef-3f82074ae6d3","2025-05-15T20:28:04.189Z",[49,63],{"person_id":50},{"id":51,"name":52,"slug":53,"born":21,"deceased":21,"city":22,"region":23,"image":21,"country":54,"founded":56},"f64d39cc-1d65-44f1-8533-88ac34579d0d","Jack Hosker","jack-hosker",{"id":39,"name":40,"slug":41,"flag":55},{"id":46,"type":32,"modified_on":47,"width":21,"height":21},[57],{"make_id":58},{"id":11,"name":19,"slug":12,"founded":20,"defunct":21,"country":59,"emblem":61,"emblem_dark":62},{"id":39,"slug":41,"name":40,"flag":60},{"id":46,"type":32,"modified_on":47,"width":21,"height":21},{"id":31,"type":32,"modified_on":33,"width":34,"height":34},{"id":36,"type":32,"modified_on":37,"width":34,"height":34},{"person_id":64},{"id":65,"name":66,"slug":67,"born":68,"deceased":69,"city":70,"region":23,"image":21,"country":71,"founded":73},"0bd58ed7-8a4e-464b-81d4-bfefca9b7e56","Bernard Cox","bernard-cox","1949-05-15","2024-10-09","Bromley",{"id":39,"name":40,"slug":41,"flag":72},{"id":46,"type":32,"modified_on":47,"width":21,"height":21},[74],{"make_id":75},{"id":11,"name":19,"slug":12,"founded":20,"defunct":21,"country":76,"emblem":78,"emblem_dark":79},{"id":39,"slug":41,"name":40,"flag":77},{"id":46,"type":32,"modified_on":47,"width":21,"height":21},{"id":31,"type":32,"modified_on":33,"width":34,"height":34},{"id":36,"type":32,"modified_on":37,"width":34,"height":34},[81],{"related_make_id":82},{"id":83,"name":84,"slug":85,"founded":86,"defunct":21,"latitude":24,"longitude":25,"emblem":87,"emblem_dark":90,"country":93},"8a7a069f-dff2-457a-8fc1-c98fe6fc860c","Westfield","westfield",1982,{"id":88,"type":32,"modified_on":89,"width":34,"height":34},"8b9c58b1-0803-4d25-8bfd-56c6f34446a9","2026-03-22T22:16:03.166Z",{"id":91,"type":32,"modified_on":92,"width":34,"height":34},"39f0e94e-c582-407e-991b-047d705102bc","2026-08-05T15:10:12.181Z",{"id":39,"name":40,"slug":41,"region":42,"latitude":43,"longitude":44,"flag":94},{"id":46,"type":32,"modified_on":47,"width":21,"height":21},[],[],[]]
