Landwind vehicles were first sold in 2002, and the marque was relaunched in November 2004. From 2012, Landwind produced models including the X5, X8, X6, X7, Xiaoyao, Rongyao and CV9. Sales peaked in 2016 at approximately 80,000 vehicles before declining to around 1,000 by 2019.
