The Polish government entered into an agreement with FIAT to produce licensed vehicles in a state factory, PZInż, located in Warsaw. From the mid-1930s, the factory began producing complete vehicles such as the PF 508\u002FIII Junak, PF 518 Mazur, and PF 618 Grom. Special military models were also developed during this period. \n\nThe brand re-emerged in the 1960s with a new agreement and the production of the Polski Fiat 125p. Production continued through 1991, with the FSO factory assembling vehicles until 1983. The separate Polski Fiat brand ceased to exist in 1994 when FIAT acquired the Polish factory.
