The Rambler line was discontinued in the United States in 1969, but continued to be produced under various names – including Rambler American and Ambassador – in international markets until 1983. The final U.S.-built Rambler, with over 4.2 million vehicles bearing the nameplate, rolled off the assembly line in Kenosha, Wisconsin, on June 30, 1969.
