The initial prototype was revealed in 1976 and featured a fiberglass body reinforced with polyester. Engineer Humberto Pimentel Duarte and race-car tuner Renato Peixoto led the project’s development. Ana Lídia, Humberto's daughter, designed the body, drawing inspiration from various car models but not replicating any existing design. The company produced several versions of the Santa Matilde, beginning with a 171 hp (128 kW) 4.1 straight-6 engine in 1978 and 1979. In 1982, a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 140 hp (104 kW) became available. Production continued through 1987, with changes including a new rear design and improved internal systems. A convertible version was produced intermittently between 1984 and 1990. Later models, from 1991 to 1995, included square front lights and were produced on demand. The final model in 1997 incorporated an independent differential from the Chevrolet Omega, a new rear suspension, and a digital instrument panel. One car produced in 1997 remains with significant collector value.","https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Santa_Matilde
"0383753d-7fdc-44f0-9540-d7438f10236b","image/png","2025-05-16T22:11:10.106Z",800
"296b2799-a639-43d8-a477-df401289fd6c","Brazil","brazil","south_america",-10.3333333,-53.2
"a1c83230-3b76-4552-8cce-6f83360e7284","image/svg+xml","2025-05-15T20:23:35.580Z",[],[],[],[],[
98756,0,[]]
