In 2000, Gildo Pallanca Pastor acquired the company and shifted its focus to electric vehicles, initiating projects like Mission 01: Jamais Contente, a series of speed records on the Bonneville Salt Flats. Venturi has also been involved in motorsport, becoming the first manufacturer to join the Formula E World Championship in 2014. The company has supplied powertrains to Dragon Racing and HWA Racelab, and in 2019, signed a title partnership with ROKiT. More recently, Venturi has expanded into space exploration through strategic partnerships with Venturi Lab and Venturi Astrolab, developing technologies for the Moon, including a lunar wheel for NASA's Artemis campaign.
